People will die!

Let’s Not Fool Ourselves!

28 March 2020

Shubhrangshu Roy

Rich Britain has a population of 66million people (6.6 crore).

The Medical Director of The National Health Service just said on BBC: ‘We would have done VERY well if we keep the number of deaths below Twenty Thousand.’

Poor India has 20 times as much population as Britain at 1,300million (130 crore).

Now, you can very well imagine what it would mean to have ‘done very well’ in a resource-starved nation like India.

Please stop telling the government what it must do. It is doing quite good so far.

Instead, if you are able-bodied and have the wherewithal which most don’t have, get out there and do your bit.

Those of us who survive will read your stories, edits and statistics condemning the government some other time.

Focus on care, not dare.
Focus on hope, not despair.
Focus on science, not jingoism.
Focus on compassion, not condemnation.
Stop RANTING!
Thank you!

Meanwhile, it might serve you well to read this.
